Anxiety and depression can be loaded words, but boiled down, anxiety can be described as a preoccupation with the future and depression is a preoccupation with the past. We can experience these in both the mind and body. And the mind and body aren't always experiencing the same thing at the same time! Through breath work, postures and meditation, yoga helps bring us into the present moment and into balance.
